quotes Made by XLC and its been great. Had it over a year with no problems as yet - pretty good considering it's a budget brand and I haven't got round to servicing it ever. It has got an inner tube over the stanchion and my home made rear light bracket on it in this photo.

quotes I believe it would be described as a gell coat black, as you would get in a coloured fibre glass product, they put the Santacruz decals on and then a lacquer on top of that. Looks like painted black though. The painted ones are heavier ;)

quotes 5'9" and it's spot on for me dude. Here's the new V10 size chart if you haven't already had a look; http://www.santacruzbicycles.com/v10_carbon/#sizing.php Happy Carbon V10 buying to you sir.

quotes It's one of the first batch of the UK frames sourced through my local bike shop. It's another league to the alloy one, new shock ratio is really sweet, the travel feels slightly more linier, gives it an even more bottomless feeling with out any numbness. The handling is also improved to my old V10.3, guess this is be a compination of weight distribution and head angle in my case, but I find alot better in both fast and slow corners.

quotes Thats amazing news Chris, I bet you didn't expect to see it again did you? Sorry I couldn't of been more help while you were out there, I felt so sorry for you, really pleased to hear it's back with you. Look forward to seeing the pics. When you've got some good riding in start saving for a carbon, they're a bit special! Dont bother up dating your 2008 one for an 2009/10 V10, they lightened them up in '09 and in my opinion the '08 is a slightly better frame to have, the green 2010 I rode last season has worn out two bottom links! Happy riding mate. Also have a look at the mud guard I made for my green one, it's a bearing saver and half!

quotes Fitted the .5 cup as I dont run that much sag. The .5 feels perfect and the 1 degree cup was a little to slack for me. I prefer to run a 50-100lb to heavy spring for my wieght and my v10.3 always felt like it could of done with being a little slacker. It is a medium frame.

Yeah was very relieved. Even though I didn't get it all back. Took my wheels, pedals, saddle seatpost and my handlebars. Ok will have a look at that. Ah yeah they had Bryceland's one in my shop for a bit but wasn't around to see/feel it. Don't know if I can afford it. Looking to upgrade my car to something, was thinking a van but just though would only be practical for certain things so may be getting an estate. Then I'm saving for a nomad. Depending on how crazy I am maybe even carbon. Rode on e from my shop and it was so light and such a sick build but came in at about £6000 :S I doubt it but hopefully by that time some might pop onto the second hand market. Can't help thinking to complete my V10 it could do with a 40 or Boxxer. would look really slick with a 2011 40 I think but I will probably wear these out first.
It's good to hear from you buddy. Hope your race season goes well this year. And likewise look forward to some pictures.

Hi Will. Didn't tell you but the French Police recovered some of my bike a while ago and a mate brought it back on the plane from his holiday. It's been in the shop ever since as I planed my build. Just got it back. I am sooo happy with it. I'm posting a picture in a minute. Tell me what you think. Loving you Carbon V10, look brilliant. Hope all is well. C
